hand crafted coffee with specialty menu. We enjoyed a couple of their specialty drinks but the matcha fruit tea is our favorite. Their coffee is better than most places,so far not burnt, no metallic or intense fruity/acidic flavor. Beverage are not overly sweet and are made with in-house syrups. They offer pastries such as muffins, cookies, and cinnamon rolls. Offers lactose-free and non dairy alternatives. Service is great, they welcome you into the shop and bring coffee/food to you while you’re waiting on the couch or chairs. Calm atmosphere and Vintage decors.

Good people is my favorite coffee shop in brownsville. Not only is their coffee amazing, but they introduced me to great matcha. The service is excellent and incredibly welcoming. A perfect place for working or meeting with friends. There are seasonal drinks and pastries that I always look forward to trying !

I love this coffee shop, it’s my second home away from home. The service is always great and the employees are so friendly, it feels like family! I study there a lot lately because I love the environment and I gotta have my coffee ❤️‍🔥 10/10 recommend!

The Good People really does live up to its name. I love supporting local, but it means even more when the people there actually remember you. You’re not just another drink in the queue. They greet you. remember you, they know your order, and they make a coffee stop feel like a small part of your day that actually matters. Liz is my favorite barista and truly the star for me. She already knows my favorite drink, The Good Latte and somehow that always makes the visit feel a little more personal. When the weather is nice, I’ll walk the trail over there and reward myself after my mental health walk with my favorite drink. It’s become one of those little routines that helps me reset and feel like I did something good for myself lol. Karen is also always warm, welcoming, and helpful, and that energy shows in the space. The Good People feels like somewhere you can disconnect for a moment, breathe, and get the perfect pick me up for later. Great coffee, good energy, and genuinely good people. That’s why I keep coming back.

Review-checker here, and I'm calling this place a win! The coffee, the people, the conversations, the vibes... it's all so welcoming. The teddy shaken expresso with an extra shot is my go-to, and it's honestly one of the best drinks I've had. I love the taste of their coffee so sweet drinks are not my thing. But If you're feeling sweet, order it extra sweet and you won't be disappointed. Also! The PASTRIES!? Everything they have compliments my drink perfectly. My daughter and I Absolutely love our local coffee shop!

GoodPeople Coffee is my favorite spot in town! They hands down have the best matcha and the best strawberry refresher. It is my daily go-to and their pastries are so yummy as well! The staff is always so welcoming and kind, making you feel right at home. And don’t even get me started on their MANGO MATCHA ITS MY FAVORITE TIME OF THE YEAR (it’s a seasonal drink) Highly recommend!

This is hands down my favorite coffee shop! I stop by every week for their matcha, and it's always absolutely delicious. I'm currently obsessed with the mango matcha latte. The customer service is just as great as the drinks. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely makes you feel appreciated every time you walk in. It's the kind of place that keeps you coming back. Highly recommend if you're looking for great drinks and even better service!

I LOVE this place! The strawberry matcha was incredible 10/10 and so was the teddy gram latte. They even put a cute little teddy gram on top. We also got the macadamia cookie and that was also incredible. They have a cute atmosphere with plenty of tables to sit and do homework. Will definitely be coming back!

I absolutely love Good People Coffee! From the moment you walk in, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The owners are some of the nicest people you’ll meet, and they’ve created such a warm and inviting space. One of my favorite things about this coffee shop is that it’s a great place to meet up with friends, have a Bible study, or just spend some quiet time. The atmosphere is always peaceful and uplifting. The drinks are so good, and my favorite is definitely the Shandy! I love that they offer a different fruit flavor every month, so there’s always something new to try. If you’re looking for a coffee shop with amazing drinks, kind people, and a genuine sense of community, this is the place to go.
